昨日は倉橋駅伝ありました！

１６チームの中今年から新しいカテゴリー（オーペン）の参加もいました。

倉橋、音戸、呉市の学生たちもチームありました。

カープボートで知り合ってのKENさんも走りにきました！

彼のチームOYSTARSがオーペンカテゴリーで優勝しました。

HFMラジオAnnouncerKAMBARAさんも参加！

レース終わってから倉橋温泉最高でした！

Kurahashi Ekiden 2020
January 12th

The Kurahashi Ekiden (relay race) was this past weekend.

These running races are famous in Japan and consist of a team of runners running different segments of a decided race course. For the Kurahashi Ekiden there was 6 different legs in the race varying from 1.8km to 2km distances.

There was 16 teams this year and students from Kurahashi, Ondo and even Kure city.

This was the first year the Kurahashi Ekiden held an open category allowing runners living outside of Kure to be able to participate.

It seems that the Kurahashi Ekiden will become more and more popular in the next few years!

The best part is hopping in the Kurahashi Onsen (hotspring) after and soaking in the natural hot baths!
